KVKK / Data Protection Information
Data Controller
Your personal data is processed by Shipp, acting as the data controller, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), the GDPR (where applicable) and other relevant legislation.
Categories of Data Processed
- Identity and contact details (name, email, phone number).
- Account information (username, security and authentication data).
- Usage and interaction data (in-app activity, preferences).
- Device and technical data (IP, device type, operating system, browser).
Purposes of Processing
- Creating and managing user accounts and providing the Shipp service.
- Running compatibility analysis and matching flows based on astrology.
- Improving security, preventing fraud and enhancing service quality.
- Fulfilling legal and regulatory obligations.
Legal Bases
Your data is processed on the basis of explicit consent, performance and conclusion of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and the legitimate interests of the data controller, in line with Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK and similar provisions under GDPR.
Data Transfers
Your personal data may be shared, to the extent strictly necessary, with service providers that support the operation of Shipp, such as infrastructure/hosting and analytics providers. All such transfers are subject to confidentiality and security obligations.
Retention Period
Your personal data is stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes of processing and for the duration required by mandatory retention periods under applicable law. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
Your Rights
Under KVKK and, where applicable, GDPR, you have the right to request information about your personal data, to request correction or deletion, to restrict or object to processing, and to exercise other data subject rights. You can send your requests to info@shipdate.com.
